■世界觀
很久很久以前……
在天上懸掛著彗星，名叫蘭塔納的王國裡有一種利用彗星恩惠的技術。
該技術即『鍊金術』。而該項技術的使用者人稱鍊金術士。
王國藉著鍊金術的力量得以蓬勃發展。
但隨著彗星的消失，鍊金術無法再獲得其恩惠後逐漸衰退，最終被人們所遺忘。
時光飛逝，兩名少女在蘭塔納王國的某處命運般地邂逅。
其中一名是蕾斯娜。在鍊金術中找到了希望的她，為尋找埋藏奇蹟之源的『終極大陸』而前往王都。
另外一名是瓦萊莉婭。失去記憶而住在貧民窟的她，作為『月影會』的冒險者承接暗黑工作維生度日。
然而，神秘組織『極夜的鍊金黨』卻向兩人慢慢迫近。
在各種意圖交錯之下，兩人將逐漸解開埋藏在大陸的真相。
