Dark Avenger is just that, a hack and slash game that doesn’t go off the classic rules of the genre in any of its three game modes: alone, online and player vs player (PvP), even treasure is colored to highlight its rarity. There are few customization options but lots of items to loot and monsters to defeat, and a right array of skills. This game is played in a 3D isometric view, but you can change the camera if you like. Graphics are good indeed and gameplay is thrilling yet a little bit repetitive no matter which skills you choose. This is, Dark Avenger comes for better and for worse with all the typical features of the dungeon crawling genre, well wrapped in a box and tied with the bow of technical correctness.

Therefore, a game above average in all its features, though it doesn’t make any effort to bring fresh air to the genre it belongs to.
