The DeadBlue Adventure

The DeadBlue Adventure Description: Join us in guiding DeadBlue through a puzzling adventure in the furthest reaches of the world. Embark on a journey that will engage your mind and senses with complex puzzles!

DeadBlue was adventuring in a forest when a storm took him by surprise. Looking for shelter from the storm, cold and scared, he took refuge in a cave. He spotted an opening in one of the cave’s walls and entered a large, seemingly pristine, underground chamber. Upon entering DeadBlue was awed of what a hidden cave could host. The chamber had scores of gold and diamonds laying around and its architecture was unlike anything DeadBlue has ever seen. The floors were spotless, not a single speck of dust was upon them, the walls were covered in murals, depicting various races and creatures, some such as DeadBlue, all of them around an altar. They looked like they were worshiping what the altar hosted and radiance seemed to emanate from the altar in all directions.

In the center of the room, the altar represented in the murals was present and on it a glowing object that emanated a warm, inviting heat. He gently approached the glowing object that seemed to begin resonating to DeadBlue’s touch. Upon removing himself from the object, it stopped resonating and its light dimmed for a second. He then heard a noise that kept growing in intensity, higher and higher until it flooded DeadBlue’s senses, the light and heat were also increasing with each passing moment until the sound became unbearable and the object’s radiance filled the whole chamber. A blast of energy emanated from the object and DeadBlue was left out cold.

Once DeadBlue awakened, the chamber was no longer the same. The once pristine place he was in now seemed to be a ruin of its former self, the murals on the walls cracked and the once joyful, inviting architecture of the room now appeared to be a warped, twisted version. DeadBlue approached the altar again but the object was now lifeless. On a closer look a shadowy apparition appeared to be behind the obelisk. The apparition told DeadBlue that what he touched was an ancient spirit obelisk, one that draws power from the spirits of any living thing that touched it. It explained that the spirit obelisks do not work the normal way on DeadBlue’s race and that the Obelisk he touched will channel his power for all eternity, eventually warping him and transforming him into a demon. The only way to prevent this is to collect all the shards his spirit was shattered into.

He was thus cursed with an immortality or sorts, like all the members of his race before him that touched the spirit obelisk, and his fate is now intertwined with the Obelisk. However, his immortality does have its perks. DeadBlue can now focus and will objects into existence and it also seems that every time a fatal wound occurs DeadBlue is somehow reanimated by the powers of the Obelisk.

Hard times are ahead but DeadBlue has to muster all of his courage for the adventure of a lifetime. Help him complete amazing and challenging puzzles collect all the spirit fragments and restore his former self or leave him be bound in servitude to the spirit obelisk for all eternity. DeadBlue is now ready for the adventure of a lifetime but do not forget to avoid the evil minions of the Spirit Obelisk!
