I disse årene gikk Rælingen gjennom en rivende utvikling. Vannets kraft og teknologi brer om seg, og i elven Byåa bygges det mye ny industri som bruker vannets kraft. Flere kverner og sagmøller settes opp, og tømmer tas opp i stort omfang fra Øyeren. Folk flytter til, og næringslivet vokser. Det er rett og slett startskuddet på Rælingen kommune!
I dag er det kun ruiner som står igjen i området, men i dette spillet får du mulighet til å oppleve litt av tiden som var. Du kan besøke flere av områdene, møte folkene som bodde der, og spille kule småspill som lar deg oppleve en typisk jobb på den tiden.
Spillet er utviklet for å være en del av historielæringen i Rælingen-skolene. Underveis har det vært tett dialog med lokalhistorikere slik at alt skal være historisk korrekt. Bygninger, klær, menneskene, jobbene og musikken er alle gjenskapt «slik som det engang var».
